New Resource Launched by Government to aid Canadian Employers in Finding and Hiring Foreign Workers

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) together with the Foreign Credentials Referral Office (FCRO) have launched the ‘Employer’s Roadmap’ resource to help Canadian employers in hiring workers and specialists from abroad.

This ‘Employer’s Roadmap’ is available online only at www.credentials.gc.ca and aims to ease the Canadian employer’s process of finding the particularly trained international worker for the vacant position in question, after such an individual could not be found in the domestic work force.

In making it easier to find a foreign worker that fits the specific credentials for the employer’s staffing needs, foreign workers are more likely to be sought after.

As a result of this new effective tool, ‘Employer’s Roadmap,’ job matching will become more efficient and Canada can remain competitive in its businesses.
